Lincoln Corsair rearview cameras can take in water at the connectors

Ford is recalling certain 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles because water may enter the rearview camera connectors, causing the image not to appear or to display distorted. 41,875 vehicles affected.

Water may enter into the rearview camera connectors, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or to display a distorted image. According to the manufacturer, a rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the rearview camera harness and rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2026.
