Ford and Lincoln image module resets can disable rearview camera
Ford is recalling certain 2022-2025 Lincoln Navigator, Nautilus, Aviator and Explorer vehicles because the Image Processing Module A may reset unexpectedly, losing the rearview camera image and driver assistance features.

The Image Processing Module A software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This is a phased campaign running from April to June 2026. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 13, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, referencing recall number 26S21, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
