Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles, along with 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, and Ram 2500 models. The central vision processing module in these vehicles may have contamination or improper programming.

The rearview camera image may fail to display as a result. This condition causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, which requires rear visibility. A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will repair the issue by updating the central vision processing module software or replacing the module entirely, at no cost to the owner.
