What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: This defect affects a safety-critical camera system used for back-over prevention. The loss of the rearview camera image can reduce driver rear visibility and increase crash risk during backing. No deaths, injuries, or illnesses have been reported, limiting this to a maximum score of 3 per the rubric criterion for risk-of-harm products without reported incidents.
