International truck calipers can contact suspension stopping the outer brake pad

International is recalling certain 2019-2025 HV, MV and Workstar 7400 trucks because the caliper may contact a suspension spring or axle U-bolt and prevent the outer brake pad functioning.

Dealers will switch the left and right rear air disc brake calipers, replace the rear brake torque plates and replace the brake pads, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 12, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
