International Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The recall addresses a defect where the service brake may take longer than expected to release. This issue may cause the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

A delayed brake release can increase the risk of a crash. The defect is associated with the service brakes, air supply, and quick release valve components.

Dealers will remove the 5/8” air line and replace it with a 3/4” air line free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 22, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26506. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 29, 2026.
