Plain-English summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2023-2024 F-250, F-350 and F-450 vehicles under NHTSA campaign number 24V806000. The potential number of units affected is 24,950.

Water may enter the Tailgate Park Assist Sensor Interface Module and cause the rearview camera image to display intermittently or appear blue or black. According to NHTSA, a rearview camera image that does not display can decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Dealers will replace the tailgate top camera, wire harness and TPASIM module and update the Image Processing Module A software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2025.
