2023 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 Rearview Camera May Not Display

Ford Motor Company is recalling 18,513 certain 2023 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty vehicles equipped with the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist feature. When this feature is in use, the rearview camera image may not display correctly, or may be incorrect.

When the rearview camera image fails to display or shows an incorrect image, the driver loses visibility of what is behind the vehicle. This reduces the driver's ability to detect obstacles, other vehicles, or pedestrians while reversing, increasing the risk of a collision or injury.

Ford dealers will update the Advanced Drive Assistance System (ADAS) module software at no cost. Owners should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to schedule an appointment. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 5, 2023.
