2023 Ford Super Duty Trucks Door Window Auto-Reverse May Fail

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2023 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles. The driver and front passenger door module may experience a low power condition and reset while the window is moving. When this occurs, the anti-pinch function may fail to detect an obstacle near the top edge of the window and may not automatically reverse the window's direction.

If the power window does not automatically reverse when it encounters an obstruction, it increases the risk of pinch injuries to occupants or objects in the window's path.

Owners should contact a Ford dealer to have the door module software updated at no charge. Ford has mailed notification letters to affected owners beginning August 28, 2023.
