Ford Super Duty window reversal repair under an earlier recall was incorrect

Ford is recalling certain 2023 Super Duty F-250 and F-350 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall 23V-507, because the front windows may not reverse on an obstruction.

The driver and front passenger windows may fail to detect an obstacle while closing and not reverse direction as intended. According to NHTSA, a window that does not automatically reverse when an obstruction is encountered increases the risk of injury.

Dealers will update the software free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2025.
