The affected buses have an Electric Transit Operator (ETO) controller that manages the bus door motor function. A software defect in this controller can cause the rear door guide roller linkage to fail, resulting in the rear door opening unexpectedly while the bus is in motion. This creates an increased risk of injury for passengers.
