The recall is due to a defect in the MAN V8-65L front axle beams, which may develop cracks on the upper and/or lower surfaces. Over time, these cracks can cause the axle beam to fail. A failure of the front axle beam can result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
