Pacearth Direct is recalling approximately 110,550 PACEARTH U-type swing seats due to a risk of serious injury from a fall hazard. The metal carabiners, quick links, or webbing straps of the swing seats can break during use. The recalled seats were sold in various colors, including green, blue, pink, red, and turquoise, and featured chains coated in yellow plastic. They were sold as single units or packs of two.
Pacearth Direct has received at least 30 reports of falls involving these products, resulting in at least nine injuries, including fractures, head injuries, and bruising. The swing seats were sold online at Amazon.com from May 2017 through June 2026 for between $27 and $57, as well as directly by Pacearth Direct of City of Industry, California.
Consumers should stop using the recalled swing seats immediately. To obtain a full refund, consumers should contact Pacearth Direct by email at [email protected]. Consumers will be asked to write “RECALLED” on the swing seat with a permanent marker, take a photo of it including the PACEARTH logo, and email the photo to the company.
