Lexus NX, RX, and TX rearview camera software malfunction recall
Toyota is recalling certain 2022–2026 Lexus NX, RX, and TX vehicles because the rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is in reverse, reducing rear visibility and increasing crash risk.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2022–2025 Lexus NX350 and NX250, 2023–2026 Lexus RX350, and 2024–2026 Lexus TX350 vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. These vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will update the rearview camera software or replace the rearview camera, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's recall numbers are 26LB02 and 26LA02.
