Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2025 Lexus NX, Lexus NX Hybrid, Lexus RX, Lexus RX Hybrid, and Toyota Camry Hybrid vehicles, as well as 2024 Lexus RX and Lexus RX Hybrid vehicles. The second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged, which does not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 209.

A damaged seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The defect affects an estimated 40,922 vehicles.

Dealers will inspect the seat belt webbing and replace the assembly if necessary at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 20, 2025.
