2025 Lexus NX vehicles recalled for damaged rear seat belt webbing

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2025 Lexus NX250, NX350, and NX350 Hybrid vehicles, along with 2024-2025 Lexus RX350, RX350 Hybrid, and RX500 Hybrid models, and 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid vehicles. The second-row center seat belt webbing in these vehicles may be damaged.

These vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies." A damaged seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Dealers will inspect the seat belt webbing and replace the seat belt assembly if necessary at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed March 20, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153).
