The recall addresses a defect in the video processing module (VPM), which may lose communication with the rearview camera, causing the rearview camera image to fail to display.
This failure can reduce the driver's rear visibility, thereby increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers 10,199 vehicles. An interim owner notification letter was mailed on January 17, 2023, and final owner notification letters were mailed on February 3, 2023.
