Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. PACCAR is recalling certain 2018-2021 Kenworth and Peterbilt commercial trucks because a sealing washer defect in the fuel rail assembly may cause fuel leaks. When fuel leaks occur near an ignition source, fire risk increases.
REV Recreation Group is recalling 2017–2021 Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and Fleetwood motorhomes with improperly sealed floor holes that could allow carbon monoxide into the living area. Dealers will reseal the floor free of charge.
Tesla is recalling certain 2020 Model 3 vehicles because brake caliper bolts may loosen, causing the caliper to separate and lose tire pressure, increasing crash risk.
Ford is recalling 17,616 of its 2021 F-Series trucks with dual rear wheels and front wheel hub extenders. The hub extenders may be improperly attached, risking wheel separation and crash.
Ford is recalling certain 2021 F-350 SD and F-450 SD vehicles with fifth wheel left-hand mounting brackets that may be cracked. A cracked bracket could result in the fifth wheel detaching during towing, increasing crash risk.
Honda is recalling certain 2020-2021 motorcycles because the rear reflector lens may not reflect brightly enough. This defect reduces visibility and increases the risk of crashes or injuries.
Keystone is recalling 2017-2021 Cougar travel trailers because the frame rails lack sufficient cross support and can buckle under side-load stress. Buckled frames can increase crash risk.

Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2021–2022 heavy-duty trucks including Freightliner and Western Star models due to potentially loose tie rod clamps. Loose or detached tie rod ends could cause steering loss and increase crash risk.
Keystone is recalling certain 2021 Montana High Country trailers because 120VAC wiring connectors for the slide room circuit were not mounted properly. Water can enter the electrical connections, increasing the risk of fire.
