2024 Forest River travel trailers recalled for incorrect Federal Placard rim size

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 travel trailers from its Stealth EVO, Salem, and Wildwood model lines. The Federal Placard on these vehicles contains incorrect rim-size information, causing them to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, which governs tire selection and rims.
An incorrect rim size on the label may result in the wrong wheels being installed on the vehicle. This increases the risk of a crash. Approximately 35 vehicles are affected by this recall.
Owner notification letters were mailed on July 19, 2024. Dealers will install new, corrected Federal Placards at no charge.
