Chevrolet Corvette refuelling spillage can reach an ignition source
General Motors is recalling certain 2023-2026 Corvette vehicles with a left-side radiator/fan combination because excess fuel may spill into the filler pocket during refuelling and leak onto an ignition source.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 3 covers risk-of-harm where injury has not yet been reported: the fuel system itself is not breached and the defect is in how spilled fuel drains during refuelling, with no incidents recorded.
