GMC and Other Full-Size SUVs with Faulty Front Wheel Hub Bolts
General Motors is recalling certain 2025–2026 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban 1500, and Cadillac Escalade models with 24-inch wheels due to incorrectly installed front wheel hub bolts that may loosen or break, risking loss of vehicle control.

General Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2025–2026 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban 1500, Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with 24-inch wheels. Incorrect bolts may have been installed on the left and right front wheel hubs.
A bolt that loosens or breaks during vehicle operation can result in loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash. The defect affects approximately 2,457 units.
Dealers will replace the front left and right wheel hub bolts at no charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved became searchable on NHTSA.gov on May 14, 2026.
