Lincoln Nautilus displays can reboot leaving the driver a blank screen

Ford is recalling certain 2024 Lincoln Nautilus vehicles because multimedia module software may cause the panoramic and centre displays to reboot, leaving a blank screen.

The multimedia module software may cause the panoramic and centre displays to reboot, resulting in a blank screen. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility", and 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect", as well as numbers 126, 108, 135, 138, 208, 101 and 305.

NHTSA states that a blank instrument display can result in a loss of critical safety information such as the speedometer and warning lights, and that a missing rearview camera image can reduce visibility behind the vehicle.

The multimedia module software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 24, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
