Cadillac XT4 instrument panels may lack the airbag deployment perforation

GM is recalling certain 2025 Cadillac XT4 vehicles because the instrument panel may be missing the perforation that allows the passenger-side airbag to deploy properly.

General Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2025 Cadillac XT4 vehicles under NHTSA campaign number 24V795000. The potential number of units affected is 25.

The instrument panel may be missing the perforation on the underside of the panel cover that allows the passenger-side air bag to deploy properly. According to NHTSA, a passenger-side air bag that does not deploy properly increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Dealers will replace the instrument panel upper cover free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 29, 2024.
