Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks recalled for detachable mirror glass

PACCAR Incorporated is recalling approximately 10,611 certain 2022-2024 Peterbilt 535, 536, 537, and 548 trucks, as well as Kenworth T180, T280, T380, and T480 trucks. The glass lock ring on the cab mirror assembly may not be fully seated, which can allow the mirror glass to detach.

A detached mirror glass can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. PACCAR has classified this defect under their recall numbers 24KWA and 24PBA.

Owner notification letters were mailed on February 23, 2024. Dealers will inspect the mirror glass lock ring and repair it as necessary at no cost to owners.
