As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
The recall affects 2023 model year Western Star 4900 and 6900 trucks. DTNA will inspect and replace the inversion valves, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 27, 2024.
