2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV recalled for driver air bag fastener issue

General Motors is recalling certain 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV vehicles. One of the two fasteners securing the driver's frontal air bag to the steering wheel may be missing or improperly tightened.

Owners will receive notification letters (mailed July 29, 2021). Chevrolet dealers will inspect and replace the fasteners as necessary at no charge. If proper tightening is not possible, the entire air bag assembly will be replaced.
