The bolt securing the right-hand side lower seat belt anchorage may have been incorrectly installed during production. Consequently, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) numbers 210, 209, and 208.

Owners of affected 2018 Infiniti QX30 vehicles should contact their local Infiniti dealer for a free repair. Dealers will weld in a new retaining plate and secure the seat belt anchorage with a new anchor bolt. According to the recall notice, all vehicles were repaired on July 17, 2018.
