Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2025 Nissan Altima vehicles. The front passenger air bag and front passenger knee air bag may have been installed with incorrect mounting fasteners. This defect can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended during a crash.

Dealers will replace the air bag mounting fasteners free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on September 25, 2026.
