The recall addresses a defect where color-coded air lines to the E-6 brake treadle valve may have been installed incorrectly. This non-compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121 means that if air supply pressure is lost in the rear air reservoir, the vehicle may lose service braking effect on both the front and rear axles, increasing the risk of a crash.
