NHTSA recalls of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, tires, and child seats.
Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. We carry the full vehicle range so you can search by your own car.
The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. If you're not sure whether your vehicle is affected, the VIN lookup decodes your specific vehicle and cross-references the NHTSA database directly.

KTM is recalling about 19,310 GASGAS and Husqvarna off-road motorcycles from model years 2022–2025 because the front brake caliper can crack, reducing braking effectiveness and creating a crash risk. No injuries have been reported.
Polaris is recalling about 640 Model Year 2023–2025 Ranger XP 1000 NorthStar and NorthStar Crew off-road vehicles because seat belt anchor fasteners may not be properly tightened, risking seat belt separation in a crash and potential ejection of riders.
