NHTSA recalls of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, tires, and child seats.
Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. We carry the full vehicle range so you can search by your own car.
The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. If you're not sure whether your vehicle is affected, the VIN lookup decodes your specific vehicle and cross-references the NHTSA database directly.

Ford is recalling 2022 and 2023 Lincoln Corsair vehicles with 2.5L hybrid or plug-in hybrid engines that were incorrectly repaired under a previous recall. Engine oil and fuel vapor may accumulate in the engine compartment and catch fire near hot engine components.
Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2023–2025 GLC 300 and GLC 300 4MATIC, 2024–2025 AMG GLC 43 4MATIC, 2025 GLC 350E 4MATIC, and 2025 AMG GLC 63 S E vehicles with panoramic sunroofs. The C-pillar may not absorb adequate impact in a crash, increasing injury risk.
Harley-Davidson is recalling certain 2018–2024 Softail motorcycles because the rear shock pre-load adjuster mounting tab may break and damage the tire, causing sudden loss of pressure and increasing crash risk.
Yamaha is expanding a recall of approximately 352,000 golf car vehicles because the accelerator pedal spring can fail to return to idle, posing a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported to date.
Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2022–2025 S-Class, EQE, EQE SUV, EQS, and EQS SUV vehicles because the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) software may produce an incorrect warning sound while reversing, potentially failing to alert pedestrians.
Mazda is recalling 2024-2025 MX-5 vehicles where the Dynamic Stability Control indicator light may fail to illuminate due to a software error. This could prevent drivers from being warned of a traction control system failure, increasing crash risk.
The 2025 Nissan Frontier's center information display may show a blank screen in reverse, violating federal rear-visibility standards. This could reduce driver visibility and increase crash risk.
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Explorer vehicles because front brake caliper bolts may not be properly secured, potentially affecting brake function. Dealers will inspect and repair the bolts at no cost.
Rivian is recalling certain 2022-2025 R1T and R1S vehicles. D-ring bolts for front seat belt anchorages may not have been properly installed, potentially failing to restrain occupants during a crash.
Ford is recalling 2023-2025 Escape and 2025 Bronco Sport vehicles with defective cylinder heads that may cause oil leaks, loss of drive power, and fire risk.
Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 IONIQ 5 vehicles because the right-side headlight has an incorrect aim label, which can result in improperly aimed headlights that reduce road visibility and increase crash risk.
Battle Motors is recalling 2024-2025 LET2 trucks because the steering wheel retaining nut may be improperly tightened, causing the steering wheel to loosen and detach, creating crash risk.
Mitsubishi is recalling 198,940 certain 2022-2024 Outlander and 2023-2025 Outlander PHEV vehicles due to a software error that may freeze or prevent the rearview camera from displaying, reducing rear visibility and increasing crash risk.
