Forest River trailer shock bolts may break and detach onto the road

Forest River is recalling certain recreational trailers with Curt Touring Coil Suspensions because shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened and can break and detach.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Suspension hardware that can break and detach from a moving vehicle to become a road hazard for other traffic is a structural vehicle defect, meeting the Severe criterion.
