2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, 3500 Missing Owner Manuals

General Motors is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles because some may not have received an owner's manual during production. Without the manual, owners may not know how to safely use child restraint anchorages, increasing crash injury risk.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles that may not have received an owner's manual during production. These vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."

Without an owner's manual, owners may not know how to safely use and operate the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

Affected owners have been notified by letter mailed December 30, 2025. Dealers will provide the missing owner's manual free of charge. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or reference GM recall number N252532020. Vehicle Identification Numbers involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on November 25, 2025.
