What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Plain-English summary
Chrysler is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles due to a defect in the center stack upper display (DCSD). A transistor in the display may overheat, preventing the rearview camera image from displaying on the screen. This prevents compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111 (Rear Visibility).
When the rearview camera image does not display, the driver's visibility is reduced, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects approximately 133 vehicles.
Chrysler has already repaired all affected vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 27, 2025. If you own an affected vehicle and have not received a notification, contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. You may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or visit nhtsa.gov.
