What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: This is a structural safety-system defect (air bag over-deployment) that creates a risk of serious injury during a crash. Although no injuries or deaths are reported in the source text, the hazard involves a critical safety component where harm has not yet been reported but is reasonably foreseeable, meeting the rubric criterion for a High (score 3) severity.
