The recall addresses a defect in the taillight software that can cause one or both rear taillights to become inoperative or remain fully or partially illuminated. This issue causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
