Plain-English summary

Navistar, Inc. is recalling certain 2016-2019 IC Bus CE school buses equipped with 8.8L liquid propane gas (LPG) engines. The recall addresses a defect in the LPDM relay for the propane booster pump and the scavenge pump, which may intermittently fail. This failure can cause the fuel pump to stop.

If the fuel pump stops, the bus will stall, which increases the risk of a crash. The recall began on April 12, 2018. Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the LPDM relay free of charge.
