The affected vehicles are equipped with a water shutoff valve located inside, forward of the driver heater, featuring a formed heater hose.

Over time, this formed heater hose may fatigue and split. If this occurs, hot, pressurized engine coolant fluid may leak into the driver's foot area. This condition creates an increased risk of burn injury to the operator or a crash.
