Highland Ridge RV is recalling certain model year 2016 Highlander travel trailers, model 31RGR, manufactured between May 26, 2015, and September 24, 2015. The recall involves 61 units equipped with specific aluminum black ladders manufactured by Christianson Industries.
The affected ladders feature retractable hinges with a welded 'top hat' component that can separate from the hinge. If this separation occurs while the ladder is in use, the ladder may fall from the vehicle, which increases the risk of injury to users.
