Plain-English summary
Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is recalling certain model year 2016 MCI J4500 motor coaches manufactured between August 26, 2015, and December 3, 2015. These vehicles are equipped with Kiel passenger seats. The recall is due to a defect where one of the seat mounting bolts was installed incorrectly during assembly.
In the event of a crash, the seat may detach from its floor mounting, which increases the risk of injury to the seat occupant. MCI will notify owners, and dealers will correct the seat mounting free of charge. The recall began on January 12, 2016.
