The recall involves 409 vehicles where the rear brake line from the ABS pressure modulator to the foot brake cylinder may have been damaged during assembly or by contact with the spring clamp of the crank case ventilation hose.

A damaged brake line may cause a loss of rear braking ability, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycles until the recall has been remedied.

KTM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the positioning of the crank case ventilation hose clamp and correct it as necessary. Any damaged brake line will be replaced free of charge.
