Navistar Recalls 2015-2016 International Trucks Due to Brake Fire Risk

The affected brake actuators may have been manufactured with an incomplete attachment of the internal rubber diaphragm to the actuation mechanism. This defect could cause the brakes to drag or overheat. If the brakes drag and overheat, there is an increased risk of a wheel end fire.

Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the Haldex Life Seal Brake chambers free of charge. The recall began on June 19, 2015.
