The electronic modules that control the fuel pump may shut down, causing the fuel pump to stop pumping fuel. This shutdown will result in the vehicle stalling. Additionally, the vehicle would lose power-assisted braking and power-assisted steering. Any of these conditions may increase the risk of a vehicle crash.

Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if necessary, install an additional wiring harness to the in-tank fuel pump free of charge. The recall began on March 23, 2015.
