This recall involves approximately 21,500 Creekliybear "Pack and Play" Aftermarket Play Yard Mattresses, manufactured by Zhongshan Hongtu Furniture Co. (doing business as Kbabyea) of China. The white mattresses with gray striping are labeled with "Play Mat" and "Model: m-sy2," measuring approximately 26 inches wide by 38 inches long.

The mattresses violate the mandatory federal standard for crib mattresses because they exceed the allowable thickness requirements. As a result, they may not fit certain play yards adequately, creating dangerous gaps between the mattress and the side walls. Babies can suffocate if their face becomes trapped in these gaps, unable to breathe.

The mattresses were sold online through Amazon from December 2024 to June 2025 for between $28 and $40. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the mattresses and contact Kbabyea for a full refund by emailing [email protected]. To receive the refund, consumers must cut the mattress in half and send a photo of the cut mattress in the waste bin.
