What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The mattresses pose a serious risk of entrapment and suffocation to infants. However, no injuries or illnesses have been reported, and the hazard remains theoretical. This fits the rubric criterion for 'risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported,' which receives a score of 3 (High).
Plain-English summary
This recall involves approximately 117,900 Criblike aftermarket mattresses sold on Amazon from May 2023 through September 2025, manufactured in China by Zhujisibeixuxinxizixunfuwubu (dba Mengna). The affected products are Criblike Pack and Play mattresses (models XCD-001 and XCD-002, approximately 38 inches by 26 inches, white) and Criblike Mini-crib mattresses (model MNCL-001, approximately 38 inches by 24 inches, white). The mattresses were priced between $20 and $60.
The mattresses violate mandatory crib mattress standards because they may not fit properly in certain play yards or non-full-sized cribs, creating gaps between the mattress and the crib side walls. Infants can suffocate in these gaps, particularly if the infant's face becomes trapped between the mattress and the crib side, which can prevent breathing. Additionally, the non-full-sized crib mattress fails to meet mandatory flammability standards.
Consumers should immediately stop using these mattresses. To arrange a refund, contact Criblike at [email protected]. Criblike requires consumers to destroy the mattresses by cutting them in half, taking a photograph of the destroyed mattress, and emailing the photo to [email protected] with 'Recall Proof' and the consumer's name in the subject line.
No injuries have been reported.
