The mattresses may not fit properly in certain play yards and violate mandatory safety standards for crib mattresses. When undersized, gaps can form between the mattress and the play yard's side walls. Infants' faces can become trapped against the mattress and side, potentially preventing breathing.

The mattresses were sold on Amazon from April 2024 through June 2025 for between $30 and $44. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mattresses and contact Modera for a refund.
