The recalled units are white and produce either soft white (3000 Kelvin) or bright white (5000 Kelvin) light. Specific item numbers include L14P38D30KFL, L14P38D50KFL, RLP381430WL, and GVRLP381430WL, with date codes printed on the white plastic heat sink just above the screw-in base.
The recall is being issued because water can enter the lamps when used in wet location applications, which poses an electric shock hazard to the user. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
