Hunt & Company, were sold at Target stores and Target.com from September 2012 through May 2013 for about $70. The recalled lamps feature a white plastic turned-spindle design, white fabric drum shades, and two 3-way pull-chain switches. The model number PL1071 is located on a sticker on the bottom of the lamp.

The recall is being issued because the lamp can short when a standard one-way bulb is fully tightened in the lamp's three-way socket. This defect poses a fire and shock hazard to consumers. Target has received six reports of short circuiting which resulted in fires, minor property damage, and two consumers being shocked.
