These stands were sold at Gander Mountain stores nationwide from July 2007 through September 2007 for about $180. The stands are 19 feet to the shooting rail and 16 feet 8 inches to the platform, with a foot platform measuring 17½ inches wide.

The recall is due to a fall hazard. The ladder stands can become unstable while in use, particularly when at full height, because the distance between the bracing and the platform may result in instability prior to attachment to or detachment from the tree. Gorilla Inc. has received two reports of consumers who fell from these ladder stands and suffered injuries to the back and knee.
