Bradley Technologies (Canada) Inc. is recalling approximately 560 Bradley Electric Smokers, including models BTST02 (stainless steel) and BTIS1 (black). The recall was initiated because of an electric shock hazard associated with the units' power cords. Specifically, if the unit is plugged into a wall socket and one end of the connecting cord is unplugged, an electric shock hazard exists.

The affected products were sold nationwide from October 2005 through December 2005 at retailers including Sportsman's Warehouse, Barbeques Galore, Bass Pro, and Chez Bubba. The black smokers (BTIS1) sold for between $300 and $350, while the stainless steel smokers (BTST02) sold for between $400 and $450. The model number appears on a silver label on the back of the smoker, and the serial number is located on a label on the back of each unit.

Consumers should immediately stop using these smokers and contact Bradley Technologies (Canada) Inc. to determine if their smoker is part of the recall.
