Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. Triumph is recalling 2022-2023 Speed Triple RR and RS motorcycles because the radiator fan may overheat and fail, causing hot coolant to leak or spray and increasing the risk of injury and crash.
ABS Remorques is recalling 2014-2023 RC, WC, LRC, and LWC semi-trailers due to coupling plate deterioration that may cause king pin failure and trailer detachment. Detached trailers cannot be controlled and may crash or obstruct traffic.
American Honda is expanding its recall of 2019-2021 Honda Talon 1000 recreational off-highway vehicles because a loose intake funnel band screw can enter the engine, cause sudden failure, and result in loss of control and crashes.
Polaris is recalling certain 2020–2023 Sportsman and Scrambler 1000 S all-terrain vehicles because electrostatic discharge can ignite fuel during refueling, creating a fire hazard. The company has received 16 reports of fires, including one personal injury.
Yamaha is recalling about 500 Viking Off-Road Side-by-Side vehicles because improper installation of parking brake retaining bolts could cause the brake to fail, allowing the parked vehicle to move unintentionally and potentially crash.
Indian is recalling 2022 Chief and related motorcycles because the kickstand may not properly retract while riding. A failure to retract increases the risk of a crash.
Volkswagen is recalling certain 2023 ID.4 rear-wheel drive vehicles because the 12-volt battery charging cable may wear and cause a short circuit, risking vehicle fire and power loss. Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the cable at no charge.
Ford is recalling certain 2020-2023 Lincoln Aviators and Corsairs because the seat belt warning chime may activate for less than 4 seconds, failing to properly alert unbelted drivers.
Honda is recalling approximately 19 model-year 2022 Acura TLX vehicles because their tires may have sustained cuts and tears. Damaged tires can lead to loss of vehicle control and increase crash risk.
REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2021-2023 Holiday Rambler and Fleetwood motorhomes due to service valve defects on LPG tanks that may cause propane leaks and fire risk. Dealers will replace valves at no cost.
KTM North America is recalling about 231 GASGAS MC 250 motorcycles due to an incorrectly programmed CDI box that can cause engine failure and pose crash and injury hazards. Consumers should stop riding the motorcycles immediately and contact an authorized dealer for a free repair.
Kibbi is recalling 2022–2023 Renegade Valencia motorhomes. Service valves on LPG tanks may be improperly connected, creating a propane leak risk that could lead to fire if an ignition source is present.
